Well im not much of a movie reviewer but as my earlier post suugested i watch quite a few movies so i thought why not review a few as well. So yesterday i saw chak de india.. Before i talk about the movie i must say the chic playing preeti sabarwal’s character looks HOT!!!!
Ok back to the movie.. well very interesting and well made movie. It doesnt bore you even a lil bit. It has interesting underlining factors like cultural diversity in India, team building exercises, india’s pathertic attitude towards non cricketing sports, bureaucracy and etc etc.
What i really liked in the movie was the how women were projected aspect. Now now before you think that i was overjoyed at seeing 16 women in the price of one movie ticket then you are mistaken. I am a feminist at heart! I was born and brought up with 4 women in my house. My mum and my three sisters and lucky that i was everyone was treated equally by both my mum and dad. Infact i think they were partial to my sisters!!
But not every household in India is like mine.. The other day i was watching boogie woogie on tv and there was this special show for under priviledged kids and there was this girl child who spoke very emotionally about her father getting drunk and beating her mum and her. I think a lot of us and thats me included in cities do not have a clue what a majority of the under priviledged kids and families go through in India. I guess our own comforts make us take for granted and even crib about things that are really not our birth right but infact is a blessing from god..
Ok i guess thats enough of deep thinking from me for one day. Till next time
